May 22, 2019 I wanted to post an update to Into the dungeon today for New Years, but I kind of broke twine so I can’t open any of the files for the game. When I figure out how to fix it so I can open the files again, I will post the update. I also got a new game I am working on that is almost finished. I suspect to put that game up in a few days. This database contains the games that were originally found in the wiki and the forums, but in a nice, clear, and concise format that is easily searched. Forum members may add new game listings, write reviews, hold contests, and much more.

You know thedrill; just click on the links at the bottom of each page to choose yourpath through the story.However, this program does include one feature that's atleast moderately unusual. In most of these types of programs, the writer ofa page chooses all the options that will be available from that page. So, ifI write a page where the main character turns into a wolf, I also have tochoose the options that will be available from there; I might choose 'headfor the forest', 'search for a cure', and 'just sit there and howl.' Thosethree options would then appear in the new page; and when someone clicked onan option that hadn't actually been written yet, they would get a messagesaying that that part of the story hadn't been written yet, and offering themto let them write it. This has its benefits; but it can also make actuallyreading the story into a hit-or-miss game-it's disappointing when half thelinks you follow turn out not to actually exist.
And if you see a great pagethat you'd like to add onto, but all the options for that page have alreadybeen written, well, you just lose.So this program takes a more unconventional approach. When youwrite a new page of the story, you don't supply any options at all. Instead,every page includes a link that lets you add a new option to thatpage. If I write that turn-into-a-wolf page, it will appear with no optionsat all. Just the 'add a new page' link. So if I want to add that 'head forthe forest' option, I can certainly do so. But I have to actually writewhat happens next as well.
That means that every link you see is 'live'; ifthat 'head for the forest' link is there, it will actually lead to anotherpage of the story, not just a 'please write me!' And if you come up withsome clever idea that no one else has thought of. If you want that wolf tohead for Hollywood and sell its story to the tabloids. Then just add thatoption in! Active Games.
